Deadline for paper and panel proposals is due on September 30th (Sun), 2018 (Japan Standard Time).
Proposals should be 250 words maximum and sent to the following address:

The Conference Organizing Committee will examine the submitted proposal. Accepted proposals will be notified by the mid October.
Once accepted, the presenter is requested to submit either (i) the paper (approx. 4000 words) or (ii) a summary/outline of the presentation for commentators and panel chairs by November 11th (Sun), 2018 (Japan Standard Time).
Extended and revised versions of selected papers will be considered for a special issue of the Journal of Human Security Studies, which is scheduled to be published in the Japanese fiscal year 2019 (Apr 2019 – Mar 2020).
The Journal of Human Security Studies is a peer-reviewed and online journal that accepts unsolicited essays and book reviews dealing broadly with the issues of human security. For more information about the journal, please see the link below:
